From now on in it’s Halloween which blends into…well, basically Christmas. Over the last few weeks I’ve enticed you with a hectic clubland schedule. I’ve brought you London Fashion Week, I’ve kept you in the loop with our flourishing art scene. But now we head into an unfolding political furor, which I hesitate to linger upon except to say, in times of austerity what do we do? We party, that’s what! But obviously with an activist slant.
Relieve the tension this week at The Karaoke Hole, which brings us Yas Gawd Mama Slay The Haus Down Tongue Pop Boots Mama Death Drop on Thursday 24th October. Let it all go and get into a cathartic session hosted by Ms Kevin Le Grand and Ms Lucia Blayke from 9pm ’til 2am. Karaoke like you’ve never witnessed before.
Oh we do love a bit of Keela, even if no-one knows what she’s on about. But rest assured Keela Kraving’s Grand Horror Show at The Glory will be everything you need to prepare yourselves for an evening of lols! Erika Hex, Erik Witherkay, Fifi Period, Anita Piss and Heather Duster join our curvacious host on Friday 25th from 7pm for cabaret turns galore!
Every day is an excuse to express yourself. Up at Inferno, this monthly get together brought to us from Lewis G. Burton and Sebastian Bartz aka Venice Calypso is a hugely inspirational night which combines ‘camp with the underground’. It’s at The Yard on Friday 25th from 11pm ’til 6am hosted by Brother of Set and performance from Jeanocide. INFERNO.london
The Glory are having a huge Halloween Ball at the Hackney Empire on Saturday 26th but fear not at the actual Glory the official after party is gearing up for a sensational night till 3am. Join the cast of Satan’s Dolls Halloween Party for shows from Oberon White, Johnny Bones and Anita Piss, DJ’s Mollywood, Jacob Aria and Annie Pics! Open ’til 3am.
Oh, here we are PopTartz Halloween Ghoul Ball at the Eagle in Vauxhall on Saturday 26th. They’re going to creep you out with ‘gory spooktails’, trick or treat and even a phantasmic photo booth! £500 cash prize in the kooky costume competition OMG!!!!! DJ’s Johnny Kalifornia and Neil Prince. 10pm – 4am!
So many things going on…we love Stella Meltdown who is getting on the DJ decks for a session at monthly night BIMBO at John The Unicorn, 157 – 159 Rye Lane, SE15. This is the launch so show some love. Joining Stella for cabaret action are Cassandra and Jules Jones. Free entry, 10pm – 3am on Saturday 26th.
