Bootylicious: The old skool queer dancehall night taking the scene by storm

You need Bootylicious in your life!

Cuz my body’s so bootylicious baaybaaay! YES! Monthly club night Bootylicious has become an insititution on the city’s beautifully burgeoning LGBT+ hip-hop/RnB scene, with some of the most exciting DJs around, and an electric atmosphere. It provides London with something it sorely needs in 2017 – colour and life!

The Bootylicious baes hit Vauxhall’s Union every last Saturday of the month, with an eclectic clientele of everyone from voguing queens to old skool ravers. This month it’s their Spring Ball. They’re welcoming back special guests DJ Jay Jay Revlon with his fierce voguing beats, followed by Kartel Brown and Biggy C bringing urban and dancehall in room one. Plus general disco/house/RnB/soul amazingness across both rooms for the whole night!

They wanna emphasise that you NEED ID! Even if you look over 25, bring a passport or drivers’ license just in case. There’s nothing worse than dejectedly slinking back down the queue after being turned away is there.

ANYWAY, the Spring Ball is this Saturday 25th March at Club Union, 66 Albert Embankment, SE1 7TP. 11pm – 6am. Here’s a gallery from last month to give you an idea of the vibeezzz:
