That’s my name! See what I’m doing there? So, you started off your life as a circus girl. What was the first circus skill you learnt? 

I started off clowning. I was clowning for eight and a half years when I was a kid.

What is your favourite circus trick to do?

Erm… I love stilt walking. Actually, I love all of it, but stilt walking would probably be number one. Fire eating and Juggling, too.

And if you could set one Drag Race queen on fire, who would it be?

Sharon Needles. She would enjoy it the most.

When was it that you went from clowning and circus to drag?

I was 17/18 years old. I saw my first drag show and fell in love with it. And I’m like, let’s merge them all together and kind of do it all at once.

Your best and your worst moments during Drag Race?

My best moment was the singing challenge – I love to sing. Worst moment would probably be my Marilyn Monroe impersonation.

Oh, that’s who you were doing?

Yeah, right… I don’t consider myself a comedy queen so coming up with jokes in a day was a nightmare. I didn’t have any fingernails left.

Well, it’s a good job we can glue them on. How long have you been sewing?

I started sewing when I started doing drag. I’ve always loved sewing but really once I started getting into drag I thought, why not make all my own stuff. It’s so much cheaper. And it ended up turning into a little business of mine.

Yes. You’ve made garments for quite a few queens, haven’t you? What’s the favourite thing you’ve made for someone else?

Anything that I’ve done for Manila. She always comes up with crazy fun ideas. I made her a dress that looked like a big Maxi-pad. Had little wing-tips, it was nice.

What is the favourite outfit in your wardrobe right now?

I’d have to say my Le Jazz Hot costume. I love Victor/Victoria and for years I’ve wanted to make that. It was like the one costume that I thought, if I’m going to spend a bunch of money on materials it’s going to be this one. And still to this day it’s my favourite.

So what is the most British thing you can think of?

Oooh… well, I guess Madonna doesn’t count… Little Britain USA? No. I know. Catherine Tate. I love her.

Who’s your favourite drag queen of all time? 

I would have to say RuPaul. Not just because I was on RuPaul’s Drag Race, but because she was the first queen that I saw on TV anywhere and it just kind of inspired me. It was To Wong Fu and she just floated down from the ceiling!

When you’re at G-A-Y Porn Idol, what will you be looking for from the contestants?

Erm, penis. I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago, so I’m going to be on my best behaviour.

And who is your ultimate porn idol?

You know, it’s kind of embarrassing. I didn’t watch a whole lot of porn. [Laughs.] I could say ChiChi LaRue since she’s a drag queen, but she’s not really a porn star!
