Discerning scene musings from the princess of East London, letting you know exactly where to head this weekend.

In some by gone era, we liked to say things like ‘Tuesday is the new Friday’ and say that midweek clubbing was better than the weekend.

In a way, the idea of going out during the week seems quite decadent if you’ve got an early start the next day.

I’ve always liked to catch some midweek goings-on though and let’s face it, there’s something every night of the week – from discovering new hobbies or fun club nights with a twist!

At The Glory on Tuesday 16th April, Xnthony hosts Work In Progress – an open mic night to explore, perform or witness new projects on our scene. If you want to take part, send a message to [email protected]. It all starts at 7:30pm in the basement area.

Then, also at The Glory,  on Tuesday 30th April it’s The Imitation Game with Johnny Bones who presents a makeup workshop. This is week two, where makeup fantasies come true with demonstrations, tips and new techniques to try. Starts at 7pm and costs a tenner.

Burton, Jeanie Crystal, Flirty Lollypop and Pig Daddy.
