The three parties not to miss this Manchester Pride

We know that it’s a struggle. Every pride there seems to be that one party everyone has tickets for, which you only found out about after hearing it was sold out. Don’t miss out this pride! Of course dancing your jockstrap off down Canal Street is always a good go-to, but here are a few nights to aim for to make your weekend extra special:

Horse Meat Disco Does Pride MCR

It’s always tricky to know how hard you should go on your Pride Friday nights, knowing that two solid days are to follow. Two days of grinding up on strangers covered in glitter and body paint whilst downing your twelfth pint. But going hard all weekend long it what Pride’s about in Manchester. WE BELIEVE IN YOU. You can do it! Your favourite London, Sunday night disco party is here to help launch your festivities. Their mix of pride anthems and all-round good vibrations are sure to get you ready for the weekend ahead. It’s the ideal place to meet that muscle hunk that you’ll be drunk dialling for a quickie all weekend long.

The Refuge, Oxford Street, Manchester M60 7HA – 22:00 – 04:00

BEEFMINCE

Much like a virginal debutant attending her first ball, BEEFMINCE is having it’s first Manchester Pride party! Her hair is teased, her shoes are shining and she’s excited. Sure to be the big bear bash, expect hairy lumberjack-types and construction workers on their night off. At the height of Pride hype, you need to go where the wild things are, getting their rocks off to some vocal house with a chunky baseline. Chunkier yet will be the beefcakes mincing their way across the dance floor, squeezed into tight t-shirts looking like a mid-transition Hulk. It’s the perfect place to get your top off and get off with a top.

Night People, 105 Princess Street, Manchester M1 6DD – 22:00 – 04:00

Kiss Me Again Pride Party

We get it. It gets to Sunday afternoon and your thoughts are thrown into a tempest of self-doubt and exhaustion, do I go out or do I stay at home? Get over it! Throw a Berocca into your vodka and coke and get yourself dolled up for the finale of your weekend. With more of a queer art feel, Kiss Me Again is the dance party that’ll have you two-stepping into Monday morning. Relaxed and welcoming, your third night should be a nice hug, not the hard pounding the last to night have given you. Pride promises a friendly loving environment to all and nowhere else delivers it quite like this. The happy ending to your pride partying, and who turns down a happy ending?

Soup Kitchen, 31 Spear Street, Manchester M1 1DF – 23:00 – 06:00
